” Carol and Louise at PPS sold our property in Yalikavak, Turkey for us. We didn’t know them, we heard about them through a mutual contact who had also used their services to sell a portfolio of their properties on the Bodrum peninsula.
We couldn’t recommend Carol and Louise highly enough – from start to finish they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. From the outset they talked us through the sales process via emails and video conferencing, and answered all of our questions promptly, going to lengths to add further colour and clarification where it was sought. Once we made the decision to go with PPS, we handed over the keys to the property; Carol and Louise made their inspections, recommended and arranged for some cosmetic work to be carried out, and then put the property on the market.
The ladies obtained a buyer for us at a price which was acceptable to us, within roughly the timeline they had estimated. We travelled to Turkey for the sale, but we could have done it remotely by organising for a Power of Attorney. Carol and Louise checked flights for us, recommended accommodation and picked us up at the hotel to take us to the Tapu Office and then to the Bank on the day of the sale. They held our hands from start to finish that day, having arranged the paperwork for the sale, the notary etc., eliminating as much stress as possible for us. Whilst English is their first language, they are both also fluent in Turkish. As well as being professional business people, we also found Carol and Louise to be such genuinely nice, amicable, trustworthy and likeable ladies.”

“I was recommended to PPS by someone who has bought several properties through them. I contacted PPS when I was in a horrible situation when my UK property was at risk of repossession from the bank. To avoid this I had to sell my property in Turkey. I was worried that PPS would take advantage of this situation but Sharon unbelievably got a buyer for me within days of listing my property and at a reasonable, fair price. The process was smooth and quick. These attributes are very hard to find in Turkey especially if you are foreign and ignorant to the Turkish way of doing things. Buying or selling property is probably one of the most important stressful decisions people have to make and it is essential that you get the best and honest advice. We were in no rush to sell but decided having spent many holidays in Turkey, Konacik, for approx 9 years and being in our 71st year we should. I was advised by our Advocate Dr Jila Edalet to contact PPS which we did. Our Advocate had Power of Attorney and once we agreed on price, which was our original asking price, the apartment was sold in a day with the money deposited in our bank account in the afternoon. We were kept up to date by phone or email on the stages of the transaction. PPS collected our personal belongings from our apartment and stored them for us. The whole experience was stress free and we cannot praise PPS highly enough to do them justice. May I sincerely thank PPS for their assistance in finding a buyer for my 2 bedroomed apartment at Flamingo Country Club in a rather depressed market for holiday apartments (especially with only one bathroom). Although the price which was eventually agreed was not fully what was hoped for I think PPS got us the best deal that they could in the circumstances. Once the sale of the property was agreed PPS did all they could to expedite the sale in liaison with the lawyers, as the process of getting a notarised power of attorney for the lawyers to act on our behalf was extremely complex with us being based in Zambia. I would recommend their services to any person wishing to sell holiday property on a complex in the area.

I approached a number of estate agents to sell my appartment in Gumbet. PPS Turkey were, by far, the most professional, trustworthy and experienced agents. They managed my expectations really well and kept me informed on all facets of the marketing of the property (pricing, advertising, collaborating effectively with other agents around Bodrum). Also PPS liaised between the caretaker and myself to schedule viewings and regularly updated me on genuinely interested buyers. I cannot stress enough how important it was to find an honest and trustworthy company such as PPS. Selling can be as worrying a process as buying but everything happened as I was told it would. I received my money and the TAPU was transfered to the buyers without any problems at all. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. To be able to communicate in English with someone who really knows the business was a great help and I can recommend the services PPS to anyone buying or selling in the Bodrum area.

We contacted PPS via email after they were recommended to us by a friend in Turkey, to sell our house in Gundogan. After visiting the office in Bodrum we gave power of attorney which really speeded up the sale process. We felt very reassured that the team knew what they were doing and confident that they would represent us fairly. Within a few months they had found a buyer for our house and were very supportive through the price negotiation process. We had an offer we were happy with and 3 days later the sale was completed, TAPU transferred and money received in our UK bank account. We couldn’t believe how stress free the whole process was. We contacted PPS via the website and straight away we felt very familiar with them. Mel and Kim collected us promptly from our hotel 4th April and showed us 4 properties which fitted our requirements. We were very impressed with the first house they showed us. It was very exciting. We also looked at 7 other properties with another agent but nothing compared to the first one PPS showed us. Also, for us, there was a direct click with Mel and Kim. They put all the formalities in place for us, Tax Number, Solictor, Notery, Dutch Translator etc. Even when we were back in Holland, PPS continued to answer any questions we had promptly.
